FUN FACT OF THE DAY

The phrase “Fantastic!” wasn’t originally meant to be the Ninth Doctor’s catchphrase.

Eccleston started saying it spontaneously during early filming because he felt the Doctor should have a sense of joy underneath all the trauma.

The production team loved it so much that they leaned into it, and it became one of the most iconic parts of his portrayal.
